Looking for any known family members living in the area, census info, land ownership, etc, (basically anything that will place him in Dekalb County) for William Daniel Walker b. 1758 in North Carolina d. 3 Jul 1841 in Dekalb County, AL. William Daniel was the son of John Rutherford Walker b. 1728 d. 1796 and Elizabeth Watson. He was married to Susan Powell in NC in 1778 according to Early North Carolina Walker Marriages.

He was a Second Lieutenant and served with the North Carolina troops in the American Revolution.

He was allowed pension November 13, 1832 at which time he was living in Hardin County, Tennessee

Sometime in 1838, he moved to Dekalb County, Alabama

According to the census of pensioners, he was living in DeKalb County on June 1, 1840, with G. Walker.
