YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the L.E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home for Mrs. Lillie P. Jenkins, who departed this life Sept. 21, 2012.
Mrs. Jenkins was born Oct. 9, 1931, in Brewton, Alabama, a daughter of Henry and I.V. Minor Pass Sr.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethel Lighthouse Ministries, where she served in the Pastor’s Aide Ministry. She was also a volunteer for Goodwill Industries.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Rita Jenkins of Orlando, Fla.; five sons, Jerry McFarland of Chicago, Rev. Leroy (Rosalyn) Jenkins, Harry (Willa Mae) Jenkins and Steve Jenkins, all of Youngstown, and Barry (Stephanie) Jenkins of Boardman, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Gladys Jenkins of Fort Deposit, Ala.; a sister-in-law, Eva Mae Jenkins Richardson; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides her husband, Leon Jenkins Sr., she was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Henry Pass Jr.; and a sister, Bettie Robinson.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home
