Hi if anyone has an old pic of the covered bridge and/or the mill on Cedar Creek around 1900, I would sure like to get one, even a newspaper article. They were built by my gGF John Harrison Watson Sr. Archives doesn't have one but Mr. Jarnigan remembers seeing one previously. I'm hoping there might still be one around. John Watson lived in Pleasant Site at the turn of the century. There are no known pics of him due to a fire and also he was placed in Bryce Hosp and the grandkids were told he had died so they never met him. I found an old pic under the house that looks like the Watsons and we don't know who he is. I am hoping it might be he. If there were a newspaper article about the bridge and mill he might be in the pic. The pic I found is here. If anyone can date it for me that'd be great too. Note the starched collar and rounded shirt lapels and the tie is different too. If it's 1900ish it might be he.
