I have transcribed as many Martin related census records as I could get my hands on. I started lookinfg at a couple of families that were identified as white in the census records. There were an equal number of families identified as black or mulatto that I did not transcribe. Even limiting myself the the white families, I may not have gotten all of them. The records were sometimes difficult to decipher and even when they were clear I undoubtedly made mistakes in the transcription. Use them as a starting point and check out the original records if you find something of interest. This is not my line. I just started it and got carried away. Consider it a random act performed in the hope that it might aid someone at some time.
