GIRARD, Ohio – Mrs. Annie E. Blocker, 61, departed this life Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at her residence.

Mrs. Blocker was born July 11, 1950, in Dothan, Alabama, a daughter of M.C. and Lucindy Lampley Blocker.

She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church, and a volunteer at Westside Terrace.

She leaves her daughter, Terry A. Blocker, with whom she made her home; siblings, Elizabeth Blocker and Willie C. Blocker, both of Dothan, James (Patty) Blocker of Savannah, Ga. and Mary (Alex) Smith of Chicago; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lula Moore; and granddaughter, Lula Lampley.

Arrangements are being handled by the F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home Inc. in Youngstown, Ohio.
