Thanks for the help. I lose the family after 1880 Census until one of the children shows up in 1940 in WV on a death certificate listing his parents. I am at a loss as what to do or where to go next. I suspect that both Meriweather and Julia have passed between 1880 and 1900. 20 years is a long time. This just might be one of those things lost on history.
