The Alabama Genealogical Society Fall Seminar will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013, 9:00 a.m. – 2 :00 p.m., at the Alabama Department of Archives and History, 624 Washington Avenue, Montgomery, Alabama 36130.
The speaker is Susan Sloan, a professional genealogist who is currently President of the Georgia Genealogical Society.
The title of the program is "NCIS: Names, Clues and Indirect Sources". The lecture topics are: "Genealogical Proof Standard - Harness the Power of Indirect Evidence, Parts I and II", and "Using Pre-1850 Censuses in Research - A Case Study".
Seminar Fees are $40.00 for non-members and $35.00 for members.
Lunch is available for those who pay in advance.
