Never found anything substantial on Jim Wright other than from a distant cousin who had overheard family conversations. She said his name is James C. Wright. My grandmother was born in April 1904 so he would have been in the Bessemer area in the summer of 1903. I have no idea how old he was at the time, but my great grandmother would have been 39-40 years old. There is a Jim Wright on the 1900 census living in a boarding house in Bessemer and working for the railroad but I have no way of knowing if it is the correct one. All the people who could have answered these questions for me are now gone. I can only hope that a Wright descendant that has heard family gossip sees the message and responds.
