I am looking for the maiden name of Samuel Johnson's wife Mecie. Samuel was born in Autauga to Evan Johnson and Sarah Lawborn 1856. He moved to Jefferson county, and shows up in the census there with a wife Mesia (1880), Meaci (1900), Mecie (1910), Macy (1920). They were the parents of 7 children: Mamie b. 1880, Charley b. 1883, Walter b. 1885, Edward b. 1887, Maggie b. 1888, Melvin b. 1891, and Samuel b. 1892. Any info would be appreciated.
