Did you ever find out regarding a possible name change for Daniel Boone Ross, Sr. (d. 1868 & buried at Ross Chapel)?

My paternal grandmother (Mary Naomi Ross) was the daughter of Daniel Boone Ross, Jr. from Red Oak, Ellis County, TX. She married Robert Russell of Greenville, Hunt, Texas.

I would be most appreciative for any info that you can share regarding Ross Chapel or my forebear, Daniel Boone Ross, Sr.
