Hi,
Richard McMurtry thought you might be able to help me. I am trying to find the link between Thomas Bell that sailed from Belfast Ireland in 1767 arriving in Charleston with my Robert Bell. Richard thought the McMurtrey's owned land next to a Robert Bell and there was a connection between the Bell, McMurtrey and Wilson families. Can you help me? Below is some information on the family.

After marrying children lived in Ouchita, Columbia and Amity Counties AR and in TX.
I know of two family members each having two daguerotypes, on glass, of
1835-40 vintage of a well dressed lady and man. Behind the picture of the
man is written, " Previn Bell, Greenwood, Abbeville Co., S.C." The matching
daguerotype of the lady, is presumed at this point to be the wife of Previn
Bell.
Thank you,
Carol
