CAMPBELL, Ohio – Services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at the Gospel Temple Baptist Church for Mrs. Emma Curry, 82, who departed this life Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mrs. Curry was born April 5, 1930, in Lowndesboro, Alabama, a daughter of Phillip and Emma Lee Davis.
She was a member of the Gospel Temple Baptist Church and its Nurses Guild and Culinary ministries. She had been employed with Goodwill Industries, retiring in 2001.
She leaves to cherish her beloved memory, four daughters, Carolyn Curry, Tula Curry, and Talulah Curry, all of Youngstown, Ohio and Judy Bevly (Samuel) Byrd of Campbell; four brothers, Lumard Davis of Youngstown, Johnny Davis of Austintown, Ohio, and J. R. and Willie D. Davis, both of Alabama; brother in-law, Norman Curry of Detroit; three grandchildren, Omadee and Michelle Curry, and Daynen Bevly; a great-granddaughter, Aniyah Anderson; and a host of family and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Alice Watson; and two brothers, Phillips and O. T. Davis.
