Where is the Walker cemetery located? Is it accessible to the public? For years, I have been looking for the graves of Urias and Sabry Jinks, who lived in Milstead; and for Jordan Jinks and his wives, Mary and Lottie, who lived in the Franklin/Milstead area. We live in Bullock County, so are close by.
Thanks for any help.
Sincerely,
Hope Jinks

Hi Debra, I haven't been on this board in ages and am a bit rusty with my Fitzpatrick stuff. Which Fitzpatrick family are you connected with? My Ggggfather was Elam F. and his daughter and heir was my gggm, Mary Sara Rebecca Fitzpatrick who married a Harper. They had a plantation outside of Tuskegee, I believe in Cotton Valley, and a home in Tuskegee. Are you tracing slave ancestors or white ancestors? I believe a lot of the people who were emancipated from them during the war took on the surname Harper. Anyway, I'm really curious about what you've found out, and how. Have you looked at the transcription of Constantine F's will on Doll's website? He was Elam's father.

Justin, your mother and Tom's mother were sisters. Thomas Macon Mullens is your great great grandfather that was in Hood's Brigade. We have the medal that was presented to him. If you will contact me and let me know what else you need. Dr. Isaac Newton Mullens was the father of Thomas Macon Mullens. Your great grandmother, Vera Mullens Honeycutt, was the youngest daughter of Thomas Macon Mullens and Bettie Bloodworth. Bettie Bloodworth lived with Vera Honeycutt and my husband remembers her well.

BTW, Isaac Newton Mullens was a doctor and a Methodist minister. He also served as 6th mayor of Waco. The Mullens helped settle Wacoville which is now Waco.

Sure, what's your actual email address?

I don't know what all info you need but Thomas Macon had a daughter who married a Honeycutt, I can't think of her name right now but my mother knows. They had my grandmother Ruby Joy Homeycutt who later married Robert Foster. They had my mother Elizabeth Foster who married my dad Dan walker. I have three brothers, Clayton Buchanan, William travis and Jordan foster walker. I might be wrong about this and you can ask her but Shirley who is on this chat is my grandmother's (Ruby Joy's) cousin. Which I guess makes her my third cousin. Hope you dont mind me putting that out there Shirley, I know Granny joy would be rolling in her grave if she knew I put her real name on the Internet, she hated it.

By the way, for anyone that's interested I found Thomas Macon's grave in Robinson, Texas and used charcoal and paper to make copies of the tombstone. They look awesome and I have a few more if anyone wants one mailed to them. I'd be happy to do it.

Justin walker

His first marriage was to Mary Owen who I decend from. Has anyone found his burial site? Family history says Warrior Stand, Macon Co, AL but I have not found any proof.
Needing proof for membership in the Daugters of 1812. Thanks for your response.

E. Church. He is recorded on the Macon County, AL census records and on an 1866 Tax report in Macon County.

A Jacob Hamill married Julia Hill, daughter of Green and Leander Butler Hill of Autauga, but, not married in Autauga. Family records state, Jacob Hamill was "of Auburn, AL) Julia was b. ca 1824. She is found in Copiah Co, MS as a widow with daughters, Maria,(b.1838) and Tallulah,(b. 1848?) and one son, Augustus Odem Hamill, b. ca 1857.

Question? Who is E. J.
