Looking for any information about Nathaniel Harrison (b: 1787of SC). I am a gggg-grandson of:

1. Nathaniel Harrison (1787 SC) & Mary Zimmerman (1793 SC)
2. John "Gus" Harrison (1808 SC) & Narcissa Loftin (1817 AL)
3. Enoch Neal "Dick" Harrison (1837 AL) & Willie Mae Miller (1841 AL)
4. Justin William Harrison (1861 AL) & Carrie Mae Dixon (1879 AL)
5. William Tommie Harrison (1903 AL) & Zettie Zuline Megginson (1902 AL)
6. Robert Tommy Harrison (1937 AL) & Betty A Lurakis (1938 VA).

I have found a tremendous amount of information about the family histories listed above, but it abrubtly ends with Nathaniel Harrison and Mary Zimmerman of S.C. I found information on the Charles & Rebecca Woodard Family who migrated from S.C. about the same time (1818) in a large wagon train with family, friends, and neighbors. It is possible that during the post-1812 westward expansion into Alabama that Nathaniel Harrison and Mary Zimmerman with family could have accompanied the Woodard family. Interestingly, The Woodard and Harrison families are joined in marriage by James B Woodard (1811) and Talitha Harrison (1810) who later moved to Palestine, TX. If anyone has done any further research about Nathaniel Harrison's orgin's in SC or beyond, I would be very appreciative for it. I have the decendants of William Tommie Harrison and Zettie Zuline Megginson (my grandparents) if anyone is interested in that part of the family.
