I am seeking information on the parentage of:
John Bowden Brown, b. 22 May, 1873 in Gadsden, Etowah, AL.
married Anna Lee Pepper, b. 4 Nov 1875 in Albertsville, Marchall, AL. Before 1900, they had two children, Charles C. and D. C. Brown, both passed away before 1900 census for Jay Bird, Marshall, AL. He worked for N.C.&St.L. railroad aa a fireman, probably on the Huntsville district line.

Whereabouts of the remains of the two children are also sought.

Parents of John B are supposed to be:
Father: George Washington Brown, Washington, or "wash" Brown, NOT the G.W. Brown of Conecuh county.
Mother: Elizabeth (?) Battles.

So far, I have found nothing about them in Marshall or Etowah counties.

Any help from relations in this county and surrounding areas would be appreciated.
