The general consensus seems to be that John W. Barnard is the brother of my ancestor, Joseph(Job)Barnard. As far as I can tell, no one has determined who their parents were. I have seen some postings that may connect them with Timothy Barnard and Love Swain of Nantucket, MA, who supposedly emigrated to this area. I have not been able to make a connection.

I have some information on the descendants of John and Milly Barnard, although I have deleted some of the later generations. I believe I have the name of the original owner of the file, so he may be able to help you.
