Most of my research has been what I can collect online in census records. I don't have the death record of Mary Ellen Allred Bowling. I wonder if William had married twice. Annie Raymond sounds familiar. I haven't researched in a while and it's not fresh in my mind. William and Kindness were married back in early 1800's. They had one child, Winnie, on the census. In the latter census Winnie doesn't show up which made me question if Winnie had passed. Winnie I believe was only child on the first census. It is possible also that it could have been a neice or cousin staying with William and Kindness at the time of the census. Winnie has not been proven as far as I know. I couldn't locate Williams father. Believe his mother may be Elizabeth Allred that is found living in Paulding county. Close by is a W. N. Allred whose wife there shows Elizabeth also. He may be another son. ?? Elizabeth Allred was born approx 1800 in North Carolina. It is supposed, not proven, that her husband, may be of the Allred families out of North Carolina. I couldn't locate any information on Elizabeth Allred, mother. It does show that she is widow. I am guessing her husband died between 1840 and 1850. I would be interested in any information you may have on the Bowling famiies in Montague, Albabama and Georgia. We have not been able to further our journey on them past Martin. They do class in Group 6 (DNA group) of the Bowling families.
