I saw the message about Jacob Rikard not having a head stone at his grave site. As of 7/25/08 there is a new headstone at his grave at Chestnut. It is very visible from the hi-way(Ala. 265) The top of it looks lke a grinding stone from a grist mill. It was designed and placed there by the man who was miller and park manager of Rikard's Mill Park for 10 years. I have that job now. Jacob Rikard was the one who built the grist mill at the park. It is 142 years old and is still working today. David
