David Adam WEAVER b. Oct. 7, 1809, Tennessee ,m. Emily (Emely?) Ann VICKERS, Troup Co., GA Jan. 15, 1837. Emily was b. Aug. 13, 1813..

David A . Weaver served with Sledges Co., Alfords Battn., Georgia Mounted Volunteers (1836) in Creek Indian War. Serving with him was Jefferson VICKERS who may be Emily's brother. There was another brother Jack or John, a sister
Betsy (may be Elizabeth) and a half-sister, name unknown.

Pension Records show Jefferson and John moved to Talladega, Ala then to Miss. From there Jeff went to Cleavland Co., ARK, d. 1894 and John to Wood Co., TX. d. 1890-91

David Adam WEAVER was in Troup Co., GA 1836-37, Coosa Co., AL., 1850 census, Sevier Co., Ark., 1860 census., and died July 2, 1887, Big Saline Creek, Kimble Co., TX.
