Hi. I've been researching my McDonald ancestry off and on for a very long time and came across Buster McDonald's information. I am William Robert McDonald and Leona Pearl Lowe's grandaughter. My father was their eight and last child. I have a copy of a page of the McDonald bible that list all children of William and Leona, also information on William Robert and Samuel Owens McDonald, Leona Pearl Lowe and her father Joseph Franklin Lowe and mother Sally Caroline Harris. Also I have information on the second marriage of William Robert to Mable Bashie Weaver, and their children which would be my half-aunts and uncles whom I met once in the 70's. I also have old McDonald family pictures. I've got handwritten information from my Aunt regarding William Owens children and their children: Eliza Deloris, Lanetta Lee, Chesley, etc. Once of the children listed as Henry has a child born June 18, 1979 who shares my name. My son is stationed at Ft. Bragg NC, about 30 miles from where Buster's info says Angus and Catherine McDonald are buried. I've asked him to please drive there and take pictures of their headstones, as I am in Idaho and didn't know this information when I was in NC March 2008.
