My great-grandmother,Susan(Sheppard/Spears)Barnes,was born in Randolph Co,Al bet 1851-1853. She was with Jeremiah & Jane/Jessy Jane Sheppard there in 1860-1870. There was also an Andrew J.Sheppard in the family. I believe he may have been in Talladega Co in 1880 (A.J. with wife Delilah and son Willie). I am looking for his death location and year to see if a death certificate may show his parents. My grandmother,Clara Lee Barnes Ragsdale, was born in Talladega Co in 1887.
