Classification: Query
Surnames: Sizemore/Mathis/Smith
Is anyone researching this family:
1900 census Talladega Co., 4-Wd Sylacauga
Smith, John L. white male age 35, widower, carpenter
Etta, daughter age 16
Geneva, daughter age 14
Cleveland, son age 12
Madonna Bell, daughter age 10
Collins (or Charlie?) son age 9
Jas. Laurence Jones, son age 5
Some of the children's names were hard to read on the census and may not be correct. I could not find them listed in 1910. I am trying to find out if this is our John L. Smith who lived in Macon Co., AL with our Sizemore and Mathis families. Many of them wound up in Talladega Co. and this is the only John L. Smith I found that was the right age range.
If anyone has any information on this family, I would truly appreciate hearing from you - esleslie@bellsouth.net or posted message here.
