We have a John Peyton Tate in our family born 1824 in Franklin Co., Georgia. He married Rececca (Rebecca) Caldwell Jan 13, 1848. She was born in 1825 in South Carolina. John's father was Solomon Tate, born 1803 in Franklin Co., Georgia. His mother was Mary Maria Chandler, born 1807 in South Carolina. They were married July 17, 1823 in Franklin Co. There were 10 children in that family. If you want more info, just let me know.
