I'm looking for the parents of my great-great-great grandmother, Elizabeth Mary "Lizzie" Gates, born 11 Apr 1861 in AL and died on 13 Apr 1951 in Childersburg, Talladega County, AL. She married 08 Dec 1878 in Tallapoosa County, AL to William Alexander Caldwell, born 15 Oct 1857/8 in Tallapoosa County, AL and died 09 Feb 1921 in Talladega County, AL. Their children were Clifton Caldwell, Benjamin Franklin Caldwell (my great-great grandfather), Eula Evelyn Caldwell, James D. (Dallas?), Cora Lee C. Caldwell, Claude Mitchell Caldwell, Fred Eugene Caldwell, and Virgil Caldwell.

According to the various Census records where she shows up:

1900: Father born in AL, mother born in AL.
1910: Father born in GA, mother born in SC.
1920: Father born in SC, mother born in SC.
1930: Father born in AL, mother born in SC.

She apparently doesn't show up in the 1870 Census and neither her marriage or death certificates name her parents. Also, she didn't file for Social Security. If anyone can shed any light on her or her ancestry, it'd be appreciated.
