Looking back through the old messages I noticed a 2003 post. It said that Tallapoosa county had pre 1908 death books at the courthouse . Does anyone know if these books are still in the county or if they have been sent to the Alabama archives? I am searching for information on deaths between 1900 and 1908 and also one from the 1880's.
