James W. Cooper lived in Tallapoosa County in the 1830s or 1840s. His widow, Elizabeth (Betsey) Black Cooper, probably lived in Tallapoosa County for a while after the death of her husband, before moving to Wetumpka, where her sons, William B. and Milton, were druggists. The family had once lived in either Morgan or Troup County Georgia. Any help will be appreciated.
