Esther Knapp's maiden name was Marsh. Her father was Samuel Marsh Sr., a revolutionary war veteran from VT. He died in Ripley Co., In. I also have more info on David Sr. I have tried to contact you before but no response.

person engaged in Agriculture. (Page 117) He appeared on the census in 1830 in Chautauqua County, New York. Family Males: 60-70 : 1; Family Females: 60-70 : 1 (Page 417) He appeared on the census in 1830 in Dearborn Co., IN. Family Males: 70-80 : 1, Females: 70-80 : 1 (Page 250)
He appeared on the census in 1840 in Dearborn Co., IN. Family Males: 10-15 : 1, 70-80 : 1, Females: 15-20 : 1, 50-60 : 1,
80-90 : 1

Pensioned for Military Service Aged 79 years. (Page 311-312) He died on 12 Jul 1840 in Dearborn Co., IN. Revolutionary War in 1777, Union Army enlisted in Massachusetts. Served in Captain Low's Co. of Mass. Troops, Warner's Vermont Co., and Cp. James Blackeelee Vermont Co. as a Private.

Sol had lived mostly in NY until 1816 then lived 2 yrs in KY then moved to Dearborn Co., IN, a John Test and Alvah Churchill were witnesses to sol's aff'dt.
