I am researching the Davis Family, I have talked to my Great Aunt'e Assie Lee Brown, of Atlanta GA. she is 78. I am Joe Saul Davis Jr, my father name was Joe Saul Davis SR, his father was John Davis all of New Convert. Assie Lee and John was brother and sister; their father was Sal Davis, Sal Davis father is Prim Davis. They are from Chilton County or Baker before 1870. Prim Davis Mother is Fannie Davis. Prim was Mulatto and they are from a Community called New Convert near Maplesville Alabama. The majoriyt of the families there are Wilson and Davis.

Estella Wilson/Davis was Sal Davis wife and mother of John Davis and Grandson to my father joe Saul Davis Sr.---Maples ville,Alabama is the starting point.
