Surnames: Pearson, Hilton
I am searching for family of Sarah Amanda "Mandy" Pearson who was born in Alabama, 24 Jun 1828. She married in Selma, Dallas County, Alabama, in 1844 and later moved to Simpson County, Mississippi. In all censuses she stated that both her parents had been from South Carolina. I am interested in all Pearson families living in the Selma or Mobile area between the years 1840 to 1848. Her husband, William Issaac Hilton had also been born in South Carolina like her parents, his birthdate was April 18, 1818. Would love to hear from ancestors of Thomas Pearson, Leah Pearson, Reuben Pearson, John Pearson or Peter Pearson as these names are on 1830, 1840 and 1850 Dallas County censuses and could possibly be related. In 1830 Thomas Pearson had one daughter possibly of Mandy's age, the 1840 census indicates it could be one of any of the first three with a daugher that age. Peter Pearson could have been a brother, his age is near that of Mandy's and he was living as an overseer in 1850.
