You sound familiar with Douglas. I am trying to locate a family that moved there, but have little information, I am afraid. C(K)arolina Matilda Eggen b 1876 Sweden, married a Kern, and lived Douglas AK. Her mother visited her there - Ellen Christina Eggen b 1854 Sweden (d 1918) Pearson WA.
Alfred Eggen was in Douglas in 1913 Walter Egen evidently moved to Douglas @ 1910.
