William Britt logging death Alaska

Looking for distant cousin William Britt, died in logging accident sometime after 1930...born in Missouri, mother Jennie McPhail Silver...lived in Bellingham, Whatcom Co, Washington.

Don't have any more info other than William Britt was born sometime around 1907/1908..

Wow!! Yes, tis a small world....

We lived right across the street (boardwalk) from Papa George - your brother Donny bought the troller "Go Getter" from my Dad - I was also born in Ketchikan 1946 - Uncle Fred was the janitor at the school I went to - Aunt Bev was my Sunday School teacher - I remember your Dad.

I've gotten into genealogy, found out our last name is not Hall, but Hamilton - think we could be twins? heehee

Do you have any old stories, photos, etc of Craig and/or your family, that you'd like to share?

I'm in Shoreline, neighbor....

Hi You forgot to mention the boardwalk ( & wooden roads) & docks....The powerhouse. My grandfather George Hamilton, Sr. lived in Craig - he use to have a movie theatre in Craig. We use to go to Craig every summer from Ketchikan- I was born in 1946.
Did you live there? I will be going up there in August for a week. My Uncle Fred is the only one left of eight children. - He worked for Ellis.
My dad was Donald Hamilton, Sr. commerical fisherman born in Hydaburg.

Salzmann on Lake Bay, Prince of Wales Island, AK

I am looking for any information regarding a place on the Northeast part of Prince of Wales island called Lake Bay. In 1965 my father, George Salzman, bought the land for $300. We had a small cabin right on the bay and that is where we spent our last summer with my parents. After we returned to Wrangell, they left us seven children. We only got to see them shortly before they died. We have the diary that my Mother kept of that summer. We are looking to re-unite at Lake Bay next August. I lived in Lab Bay for a very short time while in 5th grade. I don't remember much. A few people and the school I went to. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about Lab Bay from 1981-1983.
