The church does have some early records. You can also find records at the Presbyterian Historical Society in Pennsylvania. Rev. Sheldon Jackson first arrived in Alaska in 1877 and Amanda McFarland arrived early August 1877. It's possible that if Kitty was in Wrangell at that time she could appear in the records after that year. The First Presbyterian Church would be the first stop. St. Rose of Lima Catholic CHurch and St. Philip's Episcopal Church followed the Presbyterians into Wrangell.
