No maiden names of Pearl Harris's mother or grandmother. It is so very frustrating! I did go back & found an old email from a cousin of my dad's who said she had found some notes from her mother that Pearl had a sister named Annie & two brothers named Henry & Johnny. ?? Annie & Johnny (T.J.?) are the names also on 1880 census of her supposed "parents"? What keeps coming back to me is the brother named Kinard. I have just learned that there are Choctaw's named Kinard which makes me wonder of the connection there. I have been told that many of the records of the Native Americans around Oklahoma were burned in a church fire I believe. And the way the Harris seem to not want to be found & use only initials (& keep turning them around) makes me curious they did not trust the government? Or maybe just kept to themselves. I am determined to put this puzzle together somehow. This has "haunted" me for years now. Thanks for your information & time.
