He was born in Arkansas so the census says, His Parents per census were from Tennessee. the big question is Who are his Parents. I have his History from 1860 Hill County, Texas to 1902 when he Died in Indian Territory (OK) he had 4 girls and 5 boys, all the children live to adults except on that showed up on the 1870 Collin County, Texas census this was the only time she was on the census and the only time GGrandfather used anything except J H W Morris he was listed Whitson, He Married a lady Sarah F Day and that is all I know abt her. I can't find a marriage location or date. I know that she had my first great uncle James Henderson Morris in Hill County, Texas late 1859/60 so I figure 1857/58 would probably the time frame they got married.
