I'm searching for the family of my father, John Oliver TURNER
I'm told that a Julius GRAY is his nephew. It seems that John's sister, Lucy (possibly 1/2 sister), married an A.W. GRAY in about 1885. The 1900 census shows this marriage had a son, Vines,(14 yrs) (Vines was my grandfathers name) C. (for Cleveland, I think)and 6 other children, one of which was named Julius C.(11 yrs). Also the census of 1910 shows an Alfred W GRAY (48 yrs) with Lucy (40 yrs) and 9 children. This census has a "Cleveland"(24 yrs) (Vines "C" for Cleveland?)and also lists Julius (21 yrs).
I'm trying to say that I believe that Julius is my first cousin, if Lucy is my aunt.
John Oliver died when I was 3, and all I want is the names of his siblings, their birth and death dates and his mother's name, Vines 2nd wife's name, birth and death.I understand that Vines TURNER was married twice, and I have Vines & Lucy's childrens name. But I have nothing on the second marriage.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
