Sidney Salina, married Charles Fletcher Barnhill, Aug. 1, 1869, and it appears that a Mary Hooper, married Thomas Burkes, 1870, is also his daughter. I have been told that he is the only Hooper family in Franklin County, during those census times.
Can you find death, and marriage information for Franklin County? By 1880, Joseph F. Hooper was in Logan County, married to my great grandmother. From what I understand, they most likely did not move, the county line changed.
In 1850, Joseph was in Scott County, 23, and living alone. 1860, he had a wife and children in Franklin County. He was in the Civil War, H-1 Ark Infantry, Union. 1870, he is in Franklin County, with same wife, and more children. His daughter, Sidney Salina gave birth to Henry Barnhill, 1870, and is believed to have died shortly after.
Charles and Sidney had three children. Joseph, Minnie and Henry.
Henry married Ruby Kilmer daughter of Thomas Walker Kilmer
