Surnames: Gill/Campbell/Dorsey/Cooksey
Anyone researching the Gill family of Grant Co AR? I have Nancy Gill m. Samuel P Campbell (b Grant Co 1861) They married July 26, 1883 in Grant Co. Her parents were Reuben Gill m Martha Dorsey. Reuben's parents were David Gill b 30 Mar 1808 GA; d 12 Sept 1881 AR and m. Katherine Cooksey b 7 June 1816 GA; d 13 Sept 1863 AR. I am following the Campbell line: Samuel Campbell (m Nancy Gill) and trying to find any information earlier than Samuel's parents, who were Samuel P and Frances Ann Hand Campbell.
