Obit Request and Cemetery Information
I would like to have the obituary for Mary Gallagher of Coal Hill, AR who passed away on July 4, 2008.
Also, after a recent trip to the West Cemetery, located just south of Coal Hill, I would like to have a list of all know burials there. I was at the library, but didn't think I would need the whole list.
This cemetery is in very poor condition and many of the stones are damaged. The cemetery itself is overgrown with brush and needs to be cleaned up.
My interest is in Isabell Butts who is buried in this cemetery. Apparently, it is considered a "black" cemetery by many. However, there are people of all races buried in it and it is a very large cemetery.
I'm also very interested in Native American burial sites in Johnson County.
My ancestors, David and Sarah Smith, lived in the southwestern part of Clarksville, very close to the area where Lake Dardanelle's shoreline is. Are there any known burials in this area?
