I found the 1850 Marion Co., Arkansas, census online. Elizabeth Livingston (this family also used the Levingston spelling) was born about 1795 in Tennessee. She had three sons living with her at the time of the 1850 census, all born in Alabama: my ancestor Alexander (age 19), Andrew (age 15), and Ruben (age 12). Also living with them was John Williams (age 35, born in Tennessee). Was this Elizabeth's brother? Are any of these people listed in Marion County on the 1860 census? Is the 1860 online? Is Elizabeth buried in Marion County? Who was her Livingston husband? Does anyone know if she had older children? Alexander K. "Allec" ended up in 1855 in Conway Co. where that year he married Lucinda Lewis, whom I believe was the daughter of Wiley Lewis (Hopkins County, TX 1850). There were a James Livingston (born about 1824 in Tennessee) and a David Livingston (born 1826 in Tennessee) in Conway County on the 1850 and 1860 censuses. I believe these, as well as Conway Co. resident Hannah Cargile (born Alabama 1824, 2nd wife of Robert Lewis Cargile, married in 1851---in Marion County?) were children of Elizabeth. Are Marion County marriage records online?
