I am searching for any records of Williams birth or his father last name of Avey/Avery. Sarah was pregnant out of wedlock with William before marrying Albert Mote Cantrell around the time he was six. William also said that Mr Avey was also sent to prison and thats why Sarah didnt marry him. I cannot locate any birth record. If anyone could help me I would certainly appreciate it. I have searched on A.com for William Franklin Avey and Burk with no results
