I need help finding more information on these relatives. I am looking for my great grandfather Bill (William)Alexander Williams. William's (Bill)birth year listed as 1858-1874 in Tennesse. The 1900 Census shows he was married to Mattie J in 1889. Mattie's birth year is listed as 1869 in Alabama. Also in the home was their daughter Nellie and boarders John W May and Emma May.

The 1930 census shows him in Little River, Poinsett Co, Arkansas with Leona McGehee (could be Thirlkill). They are listed twice on the census with two sets of children.

He may also have been in Reeds, Missouri.

Family stories say that William was from Tennessee or Missouri and may have changed his name because he may have killed someone. He may have had two families as he would leave my grandmother's family for "months at a time". He may have been involved in bootlegging and stealing horses and chickens.

I have hit a wall and would appreciate any information or clues!
