Charnick Wilson McMullen’s first marriage was to Julia ? and of that union was at least one child, John William McMullen, born 11/25/1852 in Culbreth, Georgia. Speculation from verbal family history is there was also a daughter named Mary.

1862 - 1865 Served in Civil War
Military Records show C.W. McMullen served under the Muster Roll of Company I, 11th Regiment Georgia Volunteer Infantry, Army Northern Virginia C.S.A., Randolph County Georgia “Quitman Greys” .

Son John William McMullen would have been 12 years old when his father left for the Civil War.

1865: Charnick Wilson McMullen’s second marriage was to Nancy Amanda Connelly (1837-01/051896) July 05, 1865 in Barbour County, Alabama. Both are buried in Hardshell Cemetery in Prairie County, Arkansas.

1870: Federal Census indicates family living in Eufaula, Alabama. John still living with family but no mention of a daughter Mary.

Verbal Family history give C.W. McMullen two older brothers and at least 2 sisters. Brother's names are John Eaton McMullen (of which is my line) and William. I have nothing on William or the 2 sisters.
