You can find information on the Scotts of Saline County, AR from GOODSPEED'S HISTORY OF ARKANSAS, "Saline County", pp 298 and 299. William Milton Scott and his wife Anna came to Saline County in 1833 from St. Clair County, Alabama. William Milton Scott was born in South Carolina. He and Anna had eleven children according to GOODSPEED. Seven were living at the time of the GOODSPEED article. Another family source (Lucille Brown Ziegler) lists these seven children as: Robert Jackson Scott, Joseph Scott, Winfrey Scott, Patrick Scott, Mary (wife of Thomas Pack), Margaret (wife of Joseph Dodd), and Lovey (wife of Reece Harris). There is no mention of Tennessee in either of these sources.
