I don't have anything on Cartwrights except one ancestor & can't decide if she is a dtg. to NANCY HENDRICKS/HENDRIX, from GA., La., or Mo. CATHERINE CARTWRIGHT, b. ca.1857 is in home of Nancy in 1870 census SEBASTIAN CNTY. ARK., Mississippi township. Also in the home are LEE HENDRIX, b.ca. 1862/66; and FRANCIS "FANNIE" K. HENDRIX, b. June 1868. This is my paternal grandmother who marries ANDREW J. FORD. Nancy H. is buried beside my FORD'S in what was then I.T., now Leflore Cnty. Ok. in 1900. Family stories say she was old aunt. Was C. Cartwright her dtg.? Once Nancy once m. to Cartwright & she & Fannie are 1/2 sisters; also Leroy would be 1/2 brother? Want to know the appoximate age of the Nancy you mention & could she be the one who marries your Cartwright? Full of Questions as you can see without much Answers!
