Surnames: REDMOND/REDMAN/GIBSON/HILL/TUCKER/STAPLETON
My grandfather was George Washington REDMOND b 9/19/1888 in Madison Co to George REDMOND Sr. and Nancy Paralee HILL. Nancy later married Moses GIBSON. George Jr's marriage cert. lists his name as REDMOND but he went by George GIBSON as an adult. They lived in the southern Madison Co, not far from Washington Co. The 1880 census shows the family in VALLEY TWP #17. Nancy's parents were William & Lucinda (TUCKER) HILL. George REDMOND Sr. was a railroad worker maybe from Washington Co. and roomed with the HILL family. I would love to find the elusive Mr. REDMOND, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
