Hello, I am hoping to connect some family information and find that James G. Craig and my husband's great-grandmother, Cynthia Jane (Jincey) Craig Bales were brother and sister. In reading your information regarding the Indian heritage of the family, the same story has been passed down in his line of the family. I know that another family member has some documentation regarding the application to the Dawes Commission that was rejected. Also the story goes that James and Cynthia's mother was a full blood Cherokee
and many of Cynthia's descendants also have strong Indian features. I would appreciate any information about these families, also do any photographs exist? Thanks!
