Springdale News, Feb. 11, 1976

WILLIAM N. BLOYD
William Nelson Bloyd, 88, Fayetteville, died Feb. 10 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Dec. 4, 1887, at Woolsey, he was the son of Ely R. and Mary Rose Berry Bloyd and a member of the Baptist Church. He was a retired blacksmith.

Survivors include eight sons, James B1oyd, Marvin Bloyd and Dale Bloyd, Fayettevi1le, Earl Bloyd and Jackié Bloyd, Springdaie, Herbert Bloyd, Tulsa, Okla., Ely Bloyd, Fresno, Calif., and Gene Bloyd, Oklahoma City, Okla.; three daughters, Mrs. Oleita Trice, Oklahoma City, Okla., Mrs. Mary Bynum and Mrs. Juanite Bynum, Corcoran, Calif.; one brother, Jesse Bloyd, Calif.; two sisters; 27 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Nelson Funeral Home Fayetteville, with the Rev. Vivian Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in Baptist
Ford Cemetery under th3 direction of Nelson.
