Classification: Query
Surnames: BRADLEY - CRONAN - TAYLOR

Who are the parents of Sarah Thomas Taylor (1835-1895)? Called "Tom" by her husband, Jesse James Bradley (1824-1892), she had at least one sibling, a sister Sophronia Elizabeth Taylor (1833-1906) who married James W Cronan in Obion County, Tennessee in 1853.

Sophronia and Sarah born in Kentucky according to census. Unless Jesse had previous wife, Sarah and Jesse married by Nov 1852 when daughter Mary Elizabeth was born in Tennessee.

Other children: William Johnson Bradley (1855-1929); James Henry Bradley (1858-1895); Ella Nora Bradley (1861-1897); Nancy A Bradley (1864-1941); S. Elizabeth Bettie Bradley (1866-1897); Isabelle Bradley (1869-1908); Sarah Sally Bradley (1873-1958).

Apparently Jesse and Sarah went from Tennessee to Texas to Dunklin County, Missouri by 1860. In 1870 they were living in Benton County, Arkansas, both dying in Washington County, Arkansas.

They are buried at Goad Springs Cemetery. Their marker has inscriptions for five other children, including Jessi and Rosie and three unnamed (No dates). To the right of the large stone is a smaller stone that is simply inscribed, 'S.T.'
