My Scossa family was in Alpine County in 1880. John age 38, Alexander age 38, Antoine age 29 and John age 45. All were born in Switzerland, no town given.
Ernest probably son of one of these men married Kathryn Heppe in 1915. No more history of Ernest and Kathryn as their two children did not have any children.
