I am researching EDGAR DEHAVEN, son of WESLEY W. DEHAVEN, b. abt 1845 WI, & LOELAH ALABAMA LEE, b. abt. 1852, Alabama. This couple had four children:
GRACE, EDGAR, EMILY & ALICE. All the children but GRACE were listed b. GA. She was b. WI.

WESLEY & LOELAH "ELLA" lived in Bibb County, GA from at least 1880 to 1930. No evidence that they ever lived in California. From the obituary of EDGAR DEHAVEN, d. Pittsburgh, the surviving siblings he lists, he cannot have been the ch. of WESLEY DEHAVEN. I am posting this research I have done on the California born EDGAR on this board hoping it will be helpful to someone researching this family.

Obituary:
E. DeHAVEN RITES HELD HERE TODAY. E. M. (Ed) DeHaven, 63, of 145 School Street, was laid to rest this afternoon, while hundreds of sorrowing friends mourned the passing of one of Pittsburg's best like citizens.
Services were conducted at Nuttman's Funeral Chapel by Pittsburg Lodge No. 436 of Odd Fellows, of which DeHaven was a member, and interment was in the family plot at Collinsville.
DeHaven died suddenly Friday afternoon while at work on the C.A. Hooper Co. property west of Pittsburg. A heart attack was believed cause of death.
LIVED HERE 22 YEARS.
A native of Denverton, Solano County[??], DeHaven resided in Montezuma Hills the majority of his early life. He was born January 13, 1875.
After his marriage in 1900, Mr. and Mrs. DeHaven resided in San Francisco several years, before moving to Dixon, where they lived for three years.
They came to Pittsburg 22 years ago, residing here since that time. DeHaven was a construction foreman for the Hooper Company, by which he was employed the last 15 years.
PROMINENT ODD FELLOW.
He was a prominent member of the Odd Fellows, and also belonged to the Rebekahs.
His is survived by his widow, Mrs. Olive DeHaven of Pittsburg, two sons, Elmer DeHaven of Whidby Island, Wash., and Harold DeHaven of Fresno; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Sheldon and Mrs. Inez Williamson, both of Pittsburg; and three sisters; Mrs. Elmer Lee, Mrs. Frank Parker and Mrs. Mabel Hortman, all of Oakland. He also was the brother of the late Mrs. Alma Burns and of the late Mrs. Ada Roberts.
Pall bearers at the services today were Angelo Davi, John Bufo, Armand Stow, W. W. King, John Helm and Henry Botzbach.
